technology is means anything that advances the human civilization. technology is good and bad depending on the way it is used. Computers are among my favorite technology, because of the World Wide Web. It has made everything easy. If one needs anytype of information, they just sit infront of the computer and surf the web to find information. Writing is pain in the butt for some of the students, including myself, because I have a bad hand writing and am a slow writer. In college one need to be a quick writer because when the professor puts the notes on the overhead for students to copy not every one is able to write them down. Therefore, computers have been a big help in writing because most students type faster than they can handwrite. Another advancement has been the satellite and space shuttles. The space images we get of weather to find out in advance if a disasters such as tornadoes or monsoons etc. will happen. It has been because of technology that we have landed man on the moon. We have gone to places far beyond our reach because of technology. Landing man on Mars would be awesome. It is technology that brings us news form the other side of the world. It is technology that has mode the long journeys short. Airplane has been useful in getting to other destination faster than ever before and are affordable. technology has changed the way we live and continues to improve our daily lives.

A poem

The world is under His proud power’s sway;
Whom all things were created to obey.
The sun itself is nothing but a mark;
Of long prostration on the brow of day.

My heart is lit up by an inner flame;
Tears of blood lend my eyes a cosmic frame.

War

"Who says men don't advance, in every war they kill you in a different way," was said by a noble person. How unfortunate it is, during war fathers burry their sons, during peace sons bury their fathers. War is horrifying because it kill a generation, it destroys anything that comes in its way, at leaves refugees. It creates orphans. War hurts those who are civilians. In an event of war all other possible alternatives must be looked at before deciding.Why are we creating enemies for ourselves? We have military bases in 152 countries. why? We are a super power and we need to be example for other nations to follow not to go and invade other countries and use the name of democracy. The war we fought in Iraq was unjustifiable, because we went to war to find weapons of mass destruction and there was no weapons found. We went to war without the approval of UN what does it tell other countries about our policies toward UN. Why is it that this century has created more dictators than in the history of mankind. Every person in the world has common sense to judge between right and wrong.

Soccer

Soccer is my life. If there is no soccer in heaven I don't think I will go to heaven. I started playing soccer when I moved to U. S. About five years ago. I started playing for my High School during my junior year. Now I am a freshman in Ball State and I play for their club team. We have a tournament this Saturday. It is in Nashville, Tennessee.
My position is forward. I am supposed to score goals for the team. How I got to play for the club team is I got a chance to practice with Ball State during one of their practices. I scored four goals and enjoyed the game. After the practice, the captain of the team came and asked me if I was interested in playing for a club team. "I'd love to!" I answered; however, there is a bit of a problem. My dad doesn't like it when I get involved in sports because he say it takes time away form my studies. But I play anyway.
My favorite soccer moment was when we won soccer sectional from our high school rivals in the penalty shoot-out. We won and advanced to regionals and we lost in regionals 3-1 to one of the best teams in Indiana.
